Corporate Training - Business – International Accounting and Finance
This course will relate all company activities to the key measures of company strength, the profit and loss account, and balance sheet and the cash flow statement. It will explain the differences between financial and management accounts and will deal with the key ratios that give indicators of the financial health of a company. Above all it will stress that all activity has its implication for finance and that even directional strategic decisions need to be assessed for their potential financial costs and benefits if they are to be effectively adapting strategic change.

Since completing his PGCE in 1992, Professor John Howard has lectured at a number of HE Institutions in Kent and London on academic degrees at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels (e.g. HND, BA, MBA), as well as professional courses such as CIM AND ABE. In addition to this, he has supervised dissertations of MBA students at Greenwich School of Management for University of Hull and others. He has also taught on short in-company training courses such as Customer Services, Time Management, Business Ethics, Team Building, etc.
Professor John Howard has held a number of positions of responsibility, including Acting Head of School and Course Leader/Developer in Head of Tourism and Hospitality for the ECBE group of Colleges in various European locations
